Dr David Bush has been Principal GP at Penn Surgery since 1991.
He is Wolverhampton CCG’s clinical lead for planned care.
This means he is responsible for reviewing all planned medical care in the city, which includes recommending which services the CCG should buy in the future.
In addition, he chairs the CCG’s Modernisation Programme Board, which is a collaborative project with the Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust aimed at streamlining and improving all aspects of outpatient care.
Dr Bush brings many years of experience as a front line GP to Wolverhampton CCG and is committed to putting patients at the centre of everything it does.
He would like the CCG to streamline services, improve access to healthcare and engage with all the city’s healthcare professionals.
Dr Bush, who lives in Wolverhampton, studied medicine at Birmingham University and was trained in the Black Country.
